your corporate have Open Doors or Closed Doors?!
Today's
corporate has culture of open doors. This is the Hight of democracy, so that it
allows anyone can speak with anyone.
If
any corporate restricts or does not entertain this open doors or open
communication culture, within few years, it will evaporate.
Opposite
to open doors is nothing but closed doors, this closed-door help
corrupt, political, unethical people to ruin the organization.
Just close your eyes for a minute, see how
dark it is! Just imagine, if corporate close doors to the employee to express
their feedback for one year, what level of darkness it will be getting in!?
That
is the reason corporate office have employee survey, open doors, many more.
Let
me tell what is this open doors?
World
top organizations conduct this open doors day in quarterly or biquarterly basis.
In this day, top management (MD,VP, COO, CTO, CEO) available in the office, any
employee can directly meet and talk to them, this is a forum to express Plus
and Minus of organization. This is a great help to the organization, to listen
employee concern and act on them.
If
any organization have some corrupt or unethical people in 2 or 3 levels, it's
highly difficult to the leaf level employee to complain organization failures
or issues. Since 2 or 3 levels have not good people, it will never reach the
top leadership. So obviously that organization, sooner or later, destroy investors’
money and fail.
This
open doors is a great concept, it allows anyone can go and express pros and cons
of the organization.
Life begins when opens the doors, this is an endless possibilities. The moment
you come out of your mother's womb, you are in state of open door.
- You are curious to know
- You are interested in every single organism
- You are interested in every single word you listen.
- Your growth is tremendous, reason you opened the doors for everything.
Once
you grown up, many of your surrounding started telling stories, convincing you
to close the doors. The moment you followed them, you stared decaying, the
moment you close the door, you are dead.
In
one of the phone call I told my friend Dr.Ramesh about my new blog, he suggested 2
points on this open doors, as per his view Open Doors should be opened both the
sides.
Here
are those views...
1.One side to listen idea, other side to implement that idea.
2.One side to listen problem, other side throwing out the problem causing people/process.
Corporate
problems or solution list..
- There are some teams/person eating corporate money by stretching 3 days’ work to 3 months.
- There are some teams/person hiring their relatives, friends, castes, so on, ruin corporate progress.
- There are some teams/person destroying great talents, pulling down the growing people, allowing dumb to grow.
- There are some teams/person eating corporate money, by using all its loop holes.
- There are some teams/person making money by misusing office authority or operation, so on.
- There are some teams/person ignoring great innovation or ideas of the employees.
Who
will report this? Whom to report this? Only possibility is open doors/anonymous survey.
Some
of the corrupt manager or leaders prevent you to inform your achievements to the
next level, they tell there is a process to maintain corporate structure. Of
course, that is right? not for all the cases! If something extraordinary
achieved, what is wrong in informing little higher levels. If it is not
informed, there are possibilities, corrupt manger or lead or employee show
individuals work as its own. And take all the credit to himself.
Open
doors is a forum for the achievers. This is a day; they can directly meet the top
leaders and explain how much value they have created to the organization, what
benefits or growth they missed because of internal politics, corruption, so on.
There
are many hundreds of Sundar Pichai, Mark Zuckerberg type of great minds, are
killed, pulled, destroyed, demolished, by closed minded and closed doors
people, many corporate restricts employees to approach higher management, this
is the reason we are unable to produce many Sundar Pichai, Mark Zuckerberg kind
of people.
Open
doors is not a new concept, it born the day, the democracy born.
- Common man can reach President or Prime Minister.
- Student can reach Principal.
- Person can reach or ask the God.
There are some corrupt Sage/Priests restricted to reach the God also. That's why Buddha
come to show and tell God is inside you. Later Adi Shankaracharya come to tell,
as you are the Shiva/God.( Shivoham = I’m GOD).
In
corporate, some are avoiding or introduce closed doors, you know why? they are
not good, and they don't want other good to grow.
If
any corporate or person prevent employee to reach top leaders, they are non-democrats,
you can also call them as dictators. They are close to Adolf Hitler. Or it's
like Father or Mother telling a child, you can reach up to my level, don't talk
to Grandma or Grandpa or Grand Grand so on.
Anyone
can reach anyone, doesn't mean that you send your daily status report to President. Send something that requires national heads attention. Don’t send all junk
you do or have.
Open
doors is equal to LIGHT. Closed doors is equal to DARK.
Love
means open doors, because love is acceptance. Hate means closed doors, because
hate is rejection.
WHITE IS EQUAL TO OPEN, BLACK IS EQUAL TO CLOSE, Knowingly or unknowingly,
Thief, Terrors, Killers use Black Color and Sages, Priests, Mullah’s use white
color. Similarly, for peace White color is used, for Protest Black color is used.
Corporate/Software industries please open your eyes and introduce open doors/anonymous surveys. If not soon or later you will vanish.
