Power of Letting Go!

  

Living with total let go policy is a great policy in life. It requires lot of courage and understanding of the universal forces and its perfection.

Let go means no competition, no struggle, no fight… Just relaxing with existence, whatever it leads. And let go is such a delightful experience, a total relaxation, a deep synchronicity with existence. - Osho.

In life we all try to do something, sometimes things go in right direction, sometimes things go against our intentions. When things go against to your visions or intentions, you become crazy and aggressive and try to put lot of effort to get the things in your way, in few cases more you try, more it goes away.

Anytime you faced this situation where things or people go against your intentions, step back and relax.

Indian spirituality believes in four principles:

1. Whatever happened had to happen that way.

2. Whoever you meet in your life, you are supposed to meet and there is a purpose in meeting that person, not by accident or chance. It’s all based on your past actions, they come either to teach something, learn something, give something or receive something.

3. Whatever you plan in this life, there is a time fixed for this, and it only happens at that time, neither before nor later.

4. What is done is done, don't hold on to it, no regrets and no resentments.

There is a Toe Teachings WU WEI principle from LAO TZU. WU WEI can be translated as effortless action or non-action:

1. One who seeks knowledge learns something new every day. One who seeks the Tao unlearns something new every day. Less and less remains until you arrive at non-action.

2. When you arrive at non-action, nothing will be left undone. Mastery of the world is achieved by letting things take their natural course. You can’t master the world by changing the natural way. [Tao Te Ching. 48 (translated by J.H. McDonald)]

3. If you put WU WEI into practice, you discover that problems often solved themselves. In many cases they don't need your intervention, more over by intervening you often make things worse. Everything lies in the hands of the universe, which is completely out of control. By letting go we create space for the universe to do its things.

4. Who can be still until their mud settles and the water is cleared by itself? Can you remain tranquil until right action occurs by itself?

5. The Master doesn't seek fulfillment. For only those who are not full are able to be used which brings the feeling of completeness. [Tao Te Ching, 15 (translated by J.H. McDonald).]

6. The best leaders are those the people hardly know exist. The next best is a leader who is loved and praised. Next comes the one who is feared. The worst one is the leader that is despised. [TaoTe Ching, 17 (translated byJ.H. McDonald).]

It takes lot more courage to let something go than it does to hang on to it, trying to make it better. Letting go doesn't mean ignoring a situation. Letting go means accepting what is, exactly as it is, without fear, resistance, or a struggle for control.

Many times living like a river is a better way of living. River always flows with the gravitational force and touches and greets whatever and whoever comes in its way, neither looks back nor forces against something, just moves on, till it reaches the ocean. Similarly you should learn to live life with the flow of universe, if you try to swim against the force of gravity? You find more difficulties and struggle. Living with flow is a blissful living.

In my life I applied above principles and found great results of joy. Living with letting go does not mean living lazy. Do your action with full heart and dedication, if things go different, just wait and watch, maybe it's not a right time or situation, or universe might be doing, preparing, bringing something different for you.

Life is more beautiful, if you allow that to happen. Flowers which blossom by itself is more beautiful when compared with the flower you artificially unfold or make them to blossom.

Remember, either you let go and swim with the flow? Or you fight back and swim against the flow? One day all must reach the ocean. All your struggles and fights may look funny when you realize the fact that; you too need to join the ocean. If you are aggressively trying a lot to swim against the flow, you may be evaporated in-between in your journey and you start a new journey again. Either by using same or different path you must reach the ocean. This repetition of ones journey is called as reincarnation in Indian Spirituality.

When you are in full of love, you become totally lightweight. Power of gravity losses its capacity.

When you are making love with your partner, you both feel very lightweight. You jump and fly against the gravity, and that goes as easy as like a feather flying in air.

Ask people who play football or cricket, sometimes they fly in air in such a way that they themselves can't imagine it’s possible. It happened because of full involvement and love in the game they play.

When you are playing games you love and you are interested, you jump into the sky and you fly like a feather.

When you are in deep love and traveling, distance, duration, and feel is very short, light and joyful. Same distance, duration and feel becomes heavy, long and painful when you are not in love or lack of love.

Power of Love:

1. When you are in love with someone/something you eat less, still you don't feel hungry.

2. When you are doing work you love, you don't feel hungry and tired.

3. When you are in love with someone, you don't recognize how time is passing.

4. When you are doing something creative or loving your job, you don't recognize how time is passing.

5. When you are in love, most of the happenings in the world either go unnoticed by you or looks okay to you.

6. When you are in love, you become very courageous and you feel nothing is bigger than LOVE.

7. Love has no religion, no rules, no differentiation, it just happens.

8. Love happens by itself, it's impossible to make someone to love something or someone.

9. Love makes things beautiful, foods tasteful, and places peaceful.

10. Love is a language, it helps to connect hearts and nature.

11. Love is a source of courage, which can fight or withstand against the world.

12. Love is blind, it blinds the mind (blocks logical thinking and business thinking mind), and heart takes full in charge of it.

13. Love has no age, no time, no distance, it can happen in any age, at any time and with any distance, with anything or anyone.

14. Love is a dream and has capacity to make many dream to reality.

Being in love with someone, something and someway is the best way to keep yourself happy and healthy.

Most of the people are suffering because  of lack of love, so they don't like love, because they don't want someone to see with love, which they don't have.

Lack of love is a source of many psychological, physiological and criminal issues.

There are some proofs, that love even can extend the death. I have heard of it and many of you too might have heard as well, recently my close relatives grandfather expired. He had been hospitalized and doctors confirmed  that he can't live longer and  suggested for getting him discharged from hospital, but he was alive till his younger son came and saw/spoke to him, there are many real stories that have been proved, love has capacity to postpone the death.

Watch children play, they run, jump, dance and so on, they do this restlessly, they don’t know what is rest, even they forget to drink water and eat the food. But they don't get tired, they show great energy and their play is like feather movements under the fan/air blows. How this is possible? It's possible with love! They are in full of love with what they are doing. Whereas adults, they don't do anything, by sitting at one place or doing nothing they get tired and feel heavy, because they are with lack of love.

Love can make graveyard as a beautiful garden. If you are in lack of love, beautiful garden looks like a graveyard.

Jesus Christ and Satya Sai Baba realized the power of love, their work mainly focused on Love and nothing else.

If you are looking to enhance your will power and energy love, check where you are in the above table, if you are above the scale of 200 (Courage) your will power and energy levels are positive, most of the happenings in your life will be peaceful and joyful. If you are running any of the negative feelings like; shame, guilt, apathy, grief, fear, desire, anger, and pride, you will possibly experience more suffering and more troubles in life. To reduce negative energy or bring positive energy level greater than scale of 200, I recommend you to read the book: “The Magic“ By-Rhonda Byrne, practice the suggestions which are suggested in the book, that will help you to gain the higher energy levels.

We all need to learn and expand our love, beyond one person or one thing, like children. Loving everything and everyone kills all your desires/boredom and makes your life more beautiful than ever. Don't love only sun raise or sun sets, try loving sun in whole day. Similarly love everything you eat, smell, touch, and see. Try not to differentiate as this is good, that is bad. All the differentiation come from stored memories, mind, and belief system. If you start seeing things with no mind, you have less possibilities to hate many things in this world.

When you love the entire universe, tell me what can disturb you. Nothing can disturb the person, who is in love with everything and everyone and who likes and accepts universe’s actions and screenplays.

In love, biggest hurts looks very small, in hate or lack of love smallest hurt look big.

All boredom, all disinterest and all hate is causing just because; lack of love, if you are in love time passes in such a way; days, months, years, passes like a seconds. Children don’t get boredom only adults, because; adult are suffering from lack of love and lack of curiosity, that is the main reason they experience boredom and disinterest.

When you go to the restaurant to eat a food you love, you don’t mind to wait. When you are standing in a queue for movie ticket to watch your favorite stars movie, when you are waiting for a person you love, you are OK to wait for minutes or hours based on your love and its deepness/involvement. Similarly when you are driving in a road or using stairs if someone is troubling your way or waiting for a person you don’t like, in these situations; you don’t like delay of few seconds or waiting.

How to bring that back love:

• Stop doing things you think as important and serious, relax and stay calm. Stop all comparisons which make you feel jealous, angry or anxiety.
• Just start focusing on smallest happening in your surroundings; cloud movements, trees, birds, and insects, tap water flow, and so on. Watch closely and see there is no tension in them. They all are just cool, calm and normal.
• Stop criticizing, instead of that, understand the situation by getting into their shoes.
• Understand and accept, in this world all are unique in nature. Nothing is made for you, only machines can be possibly be made for someone or something, not the human beings.
• Realize that no one ever escaped from problems; Sri Rama, Sri Krishna, Buddha, Jesus, Mohammad, and so on. All must undergo the situations of life.
• Like day and night, good and bad comes and goes in life, so you must accept both.
• Try seeing beauty in everything you see, develop curiosity, and develop interest in nature and its happenings.
• See how wonderful this universe functions: with same sand, same water and  same climate, each plant is capable to produce different things; groundnut contains oil in seeds, sugar cane produces sugar, jasmine produces fragrance, flower plants produces different colour flowers, cotton plants produces cotton, and so on. Using same sand and water, if you try; you can’t produce/include - oil, sugar, fragrance, colour, cotton and so on. But nature has capacity to bring wonders.
• Spend time with nature, play with kids, sand and water
• Stop thinking about Money, Power and Position they kill all your love and bring restlessness in to your life.
• Spend time with parents, friends and relatives. Visit some new places.
• Help strangers, Love someone with no reason, and try loving the person you hate.

Love has capacity to increase your will power, being in bliss and love gives you stronger will power. If all things are going against your will and nothing is happening in your way is a sign that you are suffering from lack of love and happiness.

Build to Collapse

Every construction must destroy one day. Everyone thinks I am building great and it stays forever.

Nothing on Earth is going to stay forever, it's impossible for someone to build something that stays forever.

Every invention loss its value one day, like programming language Fortran, Pascal, C, C++, and so on. Like operating systems: Win 95, DOS, and so on. Similarly, many great constructions of the history are either destroyed by other groups or by nature.

Kids are building house at beach, using sand. Every kid thinks, this is forever. Next day other group of kids destroy that and build another one, they too assume it is permanent. Similarly, adults are doing the same. Difference is; kids build, play and forget. Adults build, feel, compare and suffer.

Your stay on Earth is like railway station waiting room. Many people write their names on seats and walls in the waiting room. Nothing stays permanent, it stays till others people to get into the waiting room. When others enter, they erase your names, they write their names. This is going on and on. Unfortunately, no one is understanding, what had happened to the earlier things.

Look at the above image those are souvenirs of one generation, now their kids thrown out and brought other things which they feel those are great now! After 20 or 30 years, again their kids do the same. Every thing looses its value after some time, in your childhood you have few toys those are your life, now may be its your mobile, later something else.

Your house may be very beautiful now, in your old age you will witness that your kids will destroy and rebuild their house with their styles and taste.

Look at your house the things you brought and thought those are great and beautiful forever. After few days those things lost their importance and beauty, Now you don’t even noticing their beauty and creativity.

Example; when you are in love with someone, they look so beautiful, once you started hating them, same person looks ugly, reason beauty is not in the things. Beauty is in the mind it makes things beautify or ugly.

Universe is not your house, it's creators house, he organizes and reorganize things in seconds. Whatever you do and build, it's just a quantum leap for him to dissolve.

Only five elements are permanent not forms of the elements. Those five are Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Space. You build any form out of these, it will not stay forever, one day it will come back to its original form.

Nobody and Nothing can help you, including God!

I'm very clear in my statement. If you look at your life and achievements, all happened because of you only. If you think it’s because of others, those achievements will not stay longer with you. Of course nothing stays longer, everything is inevitable.

Many people believe that, if I get in touch with that person or this person, I may get some favours from them, this is a height of stupidity, in fact these thoughts come out of fear or driven by fear.

If you look at any achievements and great leaders in the world, they are the creators of their success.

If you think God can help you? No, you are wrong! Here is what Swami Vivekananda said in one of his teachings:

Let people say whatever they like, stick to your own convictions, and rest assured, the world will be at your feet. They say, ‘Have faith in this fellow or that fellow’, but I say, ‘Have faith in yourself first’, that’s the way. Have faith in yourself – all power is within you – be conscious and bring it out. Say, ‘I can do everything.’ ‘Even the poison of a snake is powerless if you can firmly deny it.’

Be free; hope for nothing from anyone. I am sure if you look back upon your lives you will find that you were always vainly trying to get help from others which never came. All the help that has come was from within yourselves.

Ask Sachin Tendulkar, who made you to take the Bharatratna award. Nobody, in fact no one can give that. What happened in his case, Government of India made law changes and included sports section and presented him a Bharatratna award.

Who helped A P J Abdul Kalam to reach such a height in professional and political life. Nobody! he is the creator of his success, may be many tried to pull him down, by cast, religion, and so on. He is a Diamond, it's impossible to prove him as a stone, so he reached heights with his own efforts.

Responsible person will get responsibilities.

If you don't believe in yourself, how others can believe in you. This applies to all success stories of life: Marriage, Friendship, Relationships, Professional, Economical, and Social life.

Have the greater belief and trust in yourself! That will unfold all universal secrets. This will happen in a magical way. Remember, once you start believing, start accepting every good and bad with same respect (because those are happening with some purpose), noting can stop you.

Father, Mother, Children, Friends, Relatives, Spouse, God, and Evils. No one can help you. If you have something to give, they stay with you. If you have nothing, no one stays with you. This does not mean that; it’s only material or money. Just a pure love and kindness can bring you many things in your life. Again, all these people can't help you, you are the one who can create or destroy your life.

Who spoiled your life?

It’s you, no one can do. Now a days we commonly see people say as below:

For Success and Achievements: this is all my hard work, this is my intelligence, this is all my effort, this is all because of me and so on.

For Failure and Loss: this is because of this or that person, this is done by others, this is by God, this is by Evil and so on.

When success comes, they say its me, for the failure they say it’s by others.

What to do, how to get success in life?

Your mind is a greatest weapon, it's like a knife. You can use it to cut vegetables or kill others or kill yourself. Use your mind consciously, be alert, be aware and be meditative. You will see greatest power in you. Every human has infinite potential, it’s like a blind person having diamond in his hand, for him it's just like a stone. Similarly, you too… you are not blind, but you have closed your eyes. You have forgotten the skills to open your eyes.

As per Tao teaching, one should live life in this way: 50% your efforts, 50% give to God or Tao, this means other 50% is taken care by the universe, that is driven by the force of your belief system, but it looks different than your expected results. Many times, you get some unwanted results, consider them as Tao/God driven things. Universe has great algorithms running and it control and activates every atom in the universe. Based on your beliefs and efforts you make universe to work for you. Don't be the slave to the universe, be the master to the universe by increasing your consciousness.

Faith, faith, faith in ourselves, faith, faith in God – this is the secret of greatness. If you have faith in all the three hundred and thirty millions of your mythological gods, and in all the gods which foreigners have now and again introduced into your midst, and still have no faith in yourselves, there is no salvation for you. – Swami Vivekananda.

Don’t wait for someone or something, start working or thinking on your dreams or goals, have faith in yourself, that brings reality. Because; You are the creator of your destiny.

India as a country shows height of gratitude, by its culture.

After having studied so many Western popular bestseller books, I realized one thing that gratitude. It is very important in one’s life. All are saying express deep gratitude to everything that makes sense, happy, living, and so on.

Here in India (especially Hindus) people treat everything with gratitude, more than that they treat them as Gods.

Yes, India is a country having millions of God's. It has also imported other countries God’s, and following better than the originated countries.

Let me explain how they classified Gods.

•         Air is treated as Vaayu Deva.
•          Fire is treated as Agni Deva.
•         Earth is treated as Bhoomi Thayi.(Mother Earth)
•          Water is treated as Ganga Matha (Mother Ganga)
•          Sky is treated as Gagana Deva.
•          Water/Rain is treated as Varuna Deva
•          Sun is treated as Surya Deva.
•          Moon is treated as Chandra Deva.
•          Snake is treated as Naga Deva/Devi
•          Fish is treated as Matsya Avatar of Lord Vishnu
•          Cow is treated as Kamadenu. (Home for all gods)
•          Tree is treated as KalpaVruksua (wishes blessing tree)

Like this every tree, flower, leaves, grass, fruits, etc. is either treated as God or treated as God's favourite. Same way, almost all animal and bird’s community is also included in the list of God’s.

Treating people as they are reflections of God’s:

• Matru devobhava treating mother like a God.
• Pitru devobhava treating father like a God.
• Atiti devobhava treating guests like a God.
• Acharya devobhava treating teachers like God.

Hindus found God in many other things such as: stars, rocks, stones, hills, mountains, rivers, seas, oceans, sounds, lights, and planets.

They also see God in Books/Paper [Goddess Saraswati], Currency/Money [Goddess Lakshmi], Metals, Food Grains [as Planets], and so on. In India people see God in diseases as well.

Like above there are 33 million gods under the hierarchy of Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheshwara (Invisible to everyone)

Some people say treating everything as God is stupidity. I don't agree with that, in fact treating everything commercial is stupidity. That is the reason we are destroying forests, polluting rivers and ocean, poisoning all our foods and grains, contaminating water and so on.

I think this concept of Hinduism is built based on non-dual concept. Everything on this earth is more important for human well being. That is why they have seen god in every living and nonliving things; they have seen God in all visible and invisible things.

Let me quote few lines of Abhinava Gavisiddeswar Swamiji, Koppal;

•      Tell me what is your contribution to this nature which has helped you in your birth, growth, and living.
•     If you buy one water bottle, you pay money.  God is filling lakes, rivers and ocean, what have you paid for that.
•    If you take one meal you pay, God is serving food to this entire world, what have you paid for that.
•    I    If you don't pay electric bill, power corporation disconnects the power. Sun and moon are giving light day and night from years, what have you paid for them. Have you given money for that? They don’t need your money, just give gratitude and thanks.
•   If you get air to your car/bike tubes you pay, your lungs breathe air 12/20 times per minute, what have you paid for that.

In this world, nothing belongs to you, all is God’s grace. When you feel it's yours, it will become a material; if you treat it’s God's, it will become Prasad. For example, if you take fruits from home to the temple, after offering to the God, it will turn as Prasad. Even though it is just a fruit, before and after offering you start seeing it differently. So, it's not in things, it's in your perception. Just change your perception to see Prasad in everything.

So, treat everything as gift of God or Gods grace; it’s a beautiful way of showing gratitude.

Send some gratitude and thanks to the mother Earth, Air, Water and all the organisms. You feel happy!
